Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's):

  1. Why Should I Join through PokerProfiler.com?
    • PokerProfiler.com is committed to our players and affiliates success, We want you to make money and be successful.  The more money you make, the more we make.  We will provide you with the best tools and resources available.  We will share our successes and failures with you. What works best to Promote the site, what doesn't work so well.
  2. How much money can you really make?
    • I made $189 the first month, no big deal really.  However, this was commission on just 1 player I referred to PartyPoker.com and my commissions have increased each month by an average of about $200. I recently met a couple of PartyPoker Affiliates that are making more than $5,000 a month.  Hard to believe, but true.  The beauty of the program is that you earn a commission for the life of the account.  As long as the player you refer to PartyPoker.com is playing you are making money.  Simple, effective, and rewarding affiliate program.
  3. Why PartyPoker.com & not a different site?
    • PartyPoker.com is the largest Poker site on the internet.  They have in excess of 40,000 players logged in and currently have the capacity for 120,000 simultaneous players. The games are fantastic at alll limits from .50/$1 limits to $30/$60.  The affiliate program is very generous.  You receive 20% of the Revenue for players accounts you refer for the LIFETIME OF THE ACCOUNT !
  4. What about Security?  Is it Safe?
    • PartyPoker.com takes security very seriously,  I have been playing on PartyPoker.com for over 2 years and never had a single problem regarding security, banking, or receiving the money I have won. I personally know about 75 or 80 players who play on Party Poker and have heard nothing negative regarding security or banking issues.  So the simple answer is "Yes it is Safe".
  5. Are the games really that easy?
    • Yes & No, I know this sounds ambiguous but it's the truth. If you just jump on the site and start playing without the proper knowledge you will probably lose.  However, If you take the necessary steps prior to playing you will likely be highly successful. So what are the "Necessary Steps"?  Please signup for the PokerProfiler.com newsletter and I will send you a link to a password protected page that outlines a very specific Action plan & Checklist to become a successful Poker player.
  6. What if I lose?
    • Newsflash !!!! Even the best players in the world lose. At the risk of sounding blatantly obvious, the key is to win more than you lose.  Personally I set a win rate goal of 70%. In other words, I am very happy at the end of the year if I have averaged winning 7 out of 10 sessions. This is just one measurement.  Obviously it wouldn't be profitable to win $100 7 times and lose $300 3 times. The win rate is just one small piece of the puzzle. For more detailed information join the PokerProfile.com newsletter and I will send you a link to a password protected page that outlines very specific tools, programs, spreadsheets, etc to track your poker success.
    • Don't play for money you can't afford to lose.
    • If you have a job and don't rely on poker for any needed income you should have about 250 times the amount of the big blind to suffer short term fluctations and the "luck factor". So if you want to play .50cents & $1 dollar poker, you should ideally have $250 in your account. I know this probably sounds ridiculously high, but it is actually on the low end.  If you are a professional poker player and you sole source of income is poker, you would need more like 1000 big bets for a proper bankroll.
    • If you lose more than 3 sessions in a row, be honest, Self-Critical, and reflective with yourself.  Review your hand histories, did you play bad? Did you go on TILT? Consider playing a lower limit game, or taking a week off and reviewing some books, software, etc.
    • Set specific goals, if you fall short of your goals re-evaluate your play?  Are your goals realistic?
  7. Where is PartyPoker.com based out of?
    • PartyPoker.com is licensed and regulated by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, through WPC Productions Inc., an Iglobalmedia Entertainment, Inc entity, and their proprietary systems are tested ongoing for randomness and fairness by the world’s leading tester of gaming and wagering devices, BMM International.
